Cheddar Cheese and Lentil Loaf
½ lb. Cheddar cheese
2 cups lentils, cooked or canned and drained
½ small onion
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp. thyme
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 T soft butter
Heat oven to 350º. Grind the cheese, lentils and onion together.
Add the rest of ingredients and mix well. Bake in a greased loaf pan
for 45 minutes. Serve with tomato or spaghetti sauce. Serves 4.
