Bubbe Lottie’s Curried Fruit

1/3 cup butter or pareve margarine
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. curry powder
1 large (1 lb. 13 oz.) can of peach halves
same size can of pear halves
1 (15 oz.) can of pineapple chunks
6 maraschino cherries

Drain fruit and place in a 1 ½ quart casserole. Melt butter or margarine and mix with brown sugar and curry powder. Place on top of fruit. Bake in a 325º oven for 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight. Reheat for 30 minutes at 350º.
