Fudge Brownies
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
¼ cup butter
about 8 ½ oz. bittersweet chocolate
2/3 cups sugar
½ cup cake meal
½ cup walnuts, chopped
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Let cool. Beat eggs
and salt until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat
in cooled chocolate. Gradually add cake meal and continue beating till
well blended. Stir in chopped nuts. Spread in a greased 8” square
pan. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Cut in squares while still
hot. Cool in pan. Makes 16
