Mock Deviled Crab
Simmer 1 lb. of halibut in water with salt, pepper and an onion until
soft. Drain and flake when cool. Combine and sauté 1 chopped onion,
1 stalk of chopped celery, ¼ of a chopped green pepper in ½
stick of butter until soft. Add 1 tsp. dry mustard, 1 tsp. salt, 2 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp. lemon juice and ½ tsp. Tabasco sauce. Beat
1 egg and add it and 1 cup of milk and the fish to the mixture. Stir
all together and bring almost to a boil. Butter a casserole or use individual
shells and fill them with the mixture. Brown ½ cup of bread crumbs
in 1 T butter. Sprinkle over mixture. Bake approximately 30 minutes
or less at 350*
