Deep Fried Chicken Livers
½ lb. chicken livers
½ cup flour
2 T. soy sauce
1/3-cup water
1 T. sherry
¼ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp salt, dash of pepper
Cut each liver in 3-4 pieces. Marinate in soy sauce and sherry for
½ hour. Mix other ingredients together. Drain liver and
dip into batter. Fry at 375 degrees. Serve on toothpicks.
(This recipe is NOT kosher; the liver must first be broiled.)
